How do I post to the PicBookArts listserv?
First you need to be subscribed, then simply send your messages as e-mail to PicBookArts@mail-list.com. Your email must come from the same exact email address as subscribed to the list or it will be rejected.
What is the digest version and why might I want it?
The digest version gathers several posts into one email which you receive once or twice a day (depending on volume), rather than each individual post. It makes reading posts quicker and doesn't clog up your mailbox. To switch to the digest version send a blank email to: picbookarts-switch@mail-list.com
What if I want to get individual emails again?
Send a blank email to: picbookarts-switch@mail-list.com
What if I go on vacation, or am temporarily too busy to keep up with the list?
Send a blank email to: picbookarts-vacation@mail-list.com This will stop emails. When you're ready to receive them again, send another blank email to: picbookarts-vacation@mail-list.com and it will switch you back to receiving emails.
How do I unsubscribe?
Send a blank email to: picbookarts-off@mail-list.com
P-L-E-A-S-E don't use this if you just want a temporary break from email. If you unsubscribe, you'll need to contact a moderator and ask to be resubscribed. Instead use the "vacation" option and send a blank email to picbookarts-vacation@mail-list.com

Write to listcom@picturebookartists.org and request that your email address be changed. Please specify your old address, your new address and whether you wish to receive the digest or not.
Can my friend join?
Ask them to contact the Membership Committee with the following:
- a brief description of their professional involvement in children's publishing
- the titles and publisher's names for three of their published books
- a web site address where their illustrations can be viewed or attach jpegs of three of their illustrations
